East of Monroe to perform at Strings & Suds; Gary Alan Ferguson's "Virginia" Selec

Hello from Team EOM! We realized we hadn't shared an update in awhile and wanted to pass along a couple of cool things that are happening for us.

We're thrilled to be performing at the inaugural Strings & Suds Music Fest at Pisgah Brewing Company in beautiful Black Mountain, North Carolina! We'll be kicking off the day's events on Saturday, August 24th, sharing the bill with some of our heroes - Jim Lauderdale, Sierra Hull, The Mavericks, and many more!

In addition to this awesome lineup, Strings & Suds is a complete experience. Pisgah Brewing's beautiful location and award-winning craft beer create a lively yet relaxing atmosphere for enjoying the music. Food trucks and a unique selection of vendors will be on site, and the Strings & Suds VIP experience (sold out) features guided brewery tours, meet & greet opportunities, and more.

We're also excited to share that our lead guitarist and songwriting wizard, Gary Alan Ferguson, has been selected for the International Bluegrass Music Association's 2019 Songwriter Showcase with his song "Virginia!" The Songwriter Showcase is a coveted opportunity at the IBMA’s World of Bluegrass, where they shine a spotlight on ten selected songwriters. These writers will perform one original bluegrass song each for an audience of some of the best bluegrass artists and producers in the industry.This year’s Songwriter Showcase will take place on Thursday, September 26 at 1 pm during World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC.
